Elk Hair Caddis Black
The Black Elk Hair Caddis is a high-floating, highly versatile dry fly designed to imitate dark adult caddisflies and other small surface insects. Its buoyant elk-hair wing keeps the fly riding well in current while creating the distinctive tent-shaped profile of a natural caddis.
This darker version is particularly useful in low-light conditions, during evening hatches, or whenever black and dark-bodied caddis are present. It is equally effective as a searching dry fly in faster water.
