Flat Waxed Nylon is a high-tenacity tying thread composed of nearly parallel filaments, making it lie very flat on the hook, provided that the twists formed during wrapping are released. Thanks to this feature, it allows for the creation of very uniform bodies.
It is perfect for tying large flies, both for saltwater and freshwater, and is also excellent for tying large flies using natural materials, allowing you to tightly tie hair and hackles without cutting them.

Ses couleurs et textures naturelles sont idéales pour imiter les petits poissons et les insectes aquatiques, ajoutant un mouvement réaliste aux mouches.

An innovative and easy to use material whose transparency allows it to be used for bodies in combination with other materials, both natural and synthetic, thus extending its usage possibilities.

100% Pure Wool thread suggested for hooks size #14 and bigger. Its very imitative color effects, its easy tying as dubbing substitute and its strength are the main charatcteristics. It can be tied by incresasing the twist to get a natural body segmentation or by reducing the twist in order to get a smooth and uniform body. When tied, fibers can be extracted at your choice by using a dubbing brush. As dubbing substitute, it is perfect to tie all kind of flies, also in combination with other materials like, for example, out Magic Tinsel.
