The UNI-French Embossed tinsels comes in two sizes .05" (Medium #10) and .038'' (Small #12).

- While it does not have the strength of our superior quality UNI-French wire, it wraps more easily.

- That makes outstanding butts, bodies and ribs for large flies.
- You can also fray this material for tailing.

Medium-sized braid made from overdyed rainbow mylar, suggested for tying both full bodies and partial ribbing.
It can also be unraveled, extracting the fibers composing the braid to obtain a flat Mylar for making wings or tails of small flies.
To achieve interesting color variations, it can be wrapped over other base threads, producing multiple shades of color.
